Pancake Day

Each year the Kiwanis Club of College Station sponsors Pancake Day. From being just a fund raiser where members of the community could eat pancakes and have a good time, we have transformed it into a family friendly event where different nonprofits in the area man booths and do children's games like face painting and beanbag toss.

The above is the 65th Annual Pancake Day on February 25, 2017

Of course we have all-you-can can eat pancakes. We have sausage and drinks also (there is a small charge for seconds on milk and sausage).  In 2009 we started using a vegetable oil, because some kids were alergic to the peanut oil we were using in the cooking. In 2012 we started offerring  sugar free syrup. In 2017 we offerred gluten free pancakes and sausage for the first time.

Pancake Day is normally on a Saturday in February between 8am and 1pm. We used to have it in March, but discovered that we just had too much competition.

Pancake Day is held at the Brazos Center which is at 3232 Briarcrest in Bryan, Texas. Each year we choose a worthy charity to get the majority of the money. For the next few yeats, most of the money will go for the Fun For All Playground which will provide a safe fun place for disabled children to play.

The next Pancake Day will be on February 17, 2018. Tickets at the door for Pancake Day will be: Adults $7, Children (ages 4-13) $4, and Children under 4 are free.

Be sure and ask about our Mickey Mouse pancake,
made to order.
